you call this community...??? so, this is what we mustered up to, eh? this is the alumni community that will be? hmm... thought we could achieve more, but i guess not. or at least not as of yet... perhaps soon we too will catch on to this fad called the internet and truly buy into all the hooopla that it offers in terms of connecting people and enabling instant connections and potential organizing opportunities.... oh well. let's see what interest there may be from the hundreds of once actively involved mac students, and perhaps the college still produces some of that sort... but i guess there is not really a desire to hook up all those potentially explosive forces... but the grassroots never fail to find ways! see the initiatives at ilovemacalester.com or the attempts at http://all.at/aroundmac to name once i know of...
